Bobby Cronin Performs At Birdland 11/29

By:

Broadway at Birdland is happy to announce that composer/writer Bobby Cronin, along with many Broadway performers, will perform a concert of his original music on Monday, November 29 at 7pm.

The concert will feature Cronin at the piano, along with his talented friends, Tituss Burgess, Dee Roscioli, Allison Case, Andrew Samonsky, Kate Pazakis, Andrew Kober, Gerard Canonico, Jenn Furman, Autumn Hurlbert and Katrina Rose Diderickson. The band will feature Josh Samuels on drums, Danny Stone on bass and Chris Lane on guitar.

Bobby is the conceiver and co-writer of That's Andy, a new musical about a boy who dreams of playing Annie. He's directed two NYC readings starring Tony Winner Beth Leavel, Burke Moses, Laura Bell Bundy, and Lauren Kennedy. Also, Bobby's well-reviewed contemporary musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol written with Angelyn Benson, has been seen at numerous regional theatres. He wrote the unique "revusical" From This Day Forward: A Schwartz Journey, arranged by Avenue Q musical director Mark Hartman, with support and guidance from Stephen Schwartz, which uses over 100 Schwartz songs to tell a brand new, plot-driven musical about four twenty-somethings living and loving in NYC. Bobby also directed and wrote a new book for the 2000 NYC revival of Personals with musical direction by Charlie Alterman, and the approval of original writers and "Friends" creators Marta Kaufman and David Crane. Bobby has had many sold-out concerts throughout NYC including headlining the Songbook Series at Lincoln Center. He made his Los Angeles debut in May 2010 with a concert at Show At Barre, featuring a mix of Broadway, pop, and rock performers. He made his European debut in London with members of the Hair tribe in August 2010. Bobby Cronin is a graduate of Yale University where he was awarded the prestigious Michael P. Manzella Award for Excellence in Arts, Scholastics and Character.
