Celebrity comedian and ventriloquist April Brucker is back with her one woman show, The Lady and President Tramp. After 2 successful engagements at Don't Tell Mama followed by a nearly sold out night at The Duplex, the petite blonde puppeteer is now set to debut The Lady and President Tramp at the Solocom Festival with her orange quaffed, billionaire political puppet Donald J. Tramp. (Any likeness to any president real or fictional is purely coincidental).

In The Lady and President Tramp, April tells the story of the fictional presidential candidate and billionaire Donald J. Tramp as he runs for president, wins, and then finishes the show by delivering an impromptu press conference where the audience asks the man himself all the important questions. The show also features Kellyanne Oneway, Mike Dispence, Don Juan De Casanova De Gorgita, and a phone call from Vlad. So just like the election of 2016, anything could happen at The Lady and President Tramp.

Aside from The Lady and President Tramp, April has been seen on shows such as Rachael Ray, Talk Soup, Good Day NY, My Strange Addiction, The Wendy Williams Show, Last Comic Standing, Inside Edition, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, Layover with Anthony Bourdain and What Would You Do? She has also been featured internationally on BBC, MTV Europe, Dutch National Television, and Korean National Television. She has also been featured in the UK Daily Mail amongst other publications for leaving her fiancé after he made her choose between her and her puppets.

Solocom is a festival of new and burgeoning solo works featuring some of the best comedians, improvisers and character performers across the country. The Lady and President Tramp join this 4 day line up on November 16, 2017 at the PIT Loft, 154 W. 29 Street at 7PM.
