Adam Pascal Returns To Feinstein's 6/20, 6/21

By:

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its Spring/Summer 2010 season with the return of Adam Pascal, the award-winning star of Broadway's Rent and Aida on June 20 and 21. After two sold-out shows this fall, Pascal returns with a show featuring a mix of original compositions from his CDs, and original arrangements of Broadway hits from "Rent", "Aida" and "Cabaret". Both shows, which feature Larry Edoff at the piano, take place at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Adam Pascal made his Broadway debut playing the HIV-positive rock guitarist "Roger" in the ground-breaking new musical, Rent. His performance was called "the golden-voiced, meditative soul" of the show and earned him a Tony Award nomination, a Theater World Award, and an Obie Award. He went on to originate the role of "Radames" in the Elton John and Tim Rice musical Aida and play "Emcee" in the final Broadway performances of Kander and Ebb's Cabaret. Eventually, he ventured into the world of film to appear in SLC Punk, School of Rock and Temptation. In 2000, Pascal returned to his rock roots with a solo recording contract on Sh-K-Boom Records. He released two solo rock albums, Model Prisoner - for which he wrote 10 of the album's 12 songs - followed by Civilian, inspired by his children and the effects 9/11 had on his family and the world.

In 2005, Adam reprised the role of "Roger" in the movie version of Rent and helped bring a new generation of fans to the Broadway show and its music. Adam's journey with Rent finally came to conclusion when in 2009, he reprised the role one last time along side Anthony Rapp, in "Rent The Broadway Tour", which traveled all over the U.S. as well as Japan and South Korea. In 2008, Adam played the role of Freddie Trumper in the Tim Rice/Abba musical Chess, alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel for two sold out performances at The Royal Albert Hall, in London. The DVD is currently on sale worldwide.

Adam's latest CD entitled Blinding Light is currently in release and he is touring with his band "Me & Larry." He has two films currently in release, Falling Star and American Primitive. He is also developing a musical for Broadway based on the concept album Operation Mindcrime, by the progressive rock band Queensryche.

FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY will present Adam Pascal on Sunday, June 20 and Monday, June 21 at 8:30 PM. Both shows have a $40.00 cover with $60.00 premium seats and an additional $25 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested, but not required. FEINSTEIN'S AT THE REGENCY is located at 540 Park Avenue at 61st Street in New York City.
