Sarah Brightman Wields Ax In New Space-Training Photos & Comments On Upcoming Journey

The Angel Of Music gets tough to prepare for space!

Internationally celebrated recording artist, performer and vocalist Sarah Brightman is taking some time out of her busy schedule to fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling to space this year according to a recent announcement and a new series of photos depicting Brightman wielding an ax while preparing for the upcoming voyage are now available to view, as well as a comment from Brightman on the mission.

Brightman shares, "Being an artist, and [knowing] the result of making magic and making something that's beautiful, I do understand the amount of hard work that goes behind everything," she said. "There is nothing more beautiful than a launch, and there is nothing more beautiful than seeing cosmonauts, astronauts in space, and doing the things they do. ... I hope that with me coming into your world, that I can do as good a job as possible and come up to expectations. I will try as hard as I can."

Of note, Brightman's latest album, the space-themed DREAMCHASER, is in stores now.
