Renee Fleming to Hold Signing at Met Opera Shop, 12/18

Star soprano Renée Fleming will sign copies of her new CD, Christmas in New York, among other items in her collection, on Thursday, December 18th at 2pm at the Met Opera Shop.

The album celebrates the sparkle and sophistication of the beloved Christmas season in New York City, with its music conjuring such iconic scenes as the holiday windows lining 5th Avenue, the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center and carriage rides in Central Park.

Highlights include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Silver Bells," "Winter Wonderland," "Sleigh Ride" and "Central Park Serenade," a brand new duet by songwriting legend Diane Warren. Fleming and her album guests have amassed a total of 16 Grammy Awards across multiple categories between them.

Fleming is set to sing her first-ever performances of the title role in The Merry Widow at the Metropolitan Opera beginning December 31st.
