Photo Flash: ROMEO AND JULIET at Beijing Academy of Performing Arts
Yesterday was the last of Beijing Academy of Performing Arts' kids theatre camps for summer 2015. The students performed Romeo and Juliet and 80 friends and family came to watch the performance. The student actors created their own sets and costumes and even wrote and choreographed songs and dances for the show. Check out photos from the show below!
This was the first of their new Broadway English theatre camps that are designed for students with only a basic level of English. (Their usual kids theatre camps run in conjunction with international schools, require an advanced or almost fluent level of English) This new fun camp for all the students exposed them to theatre just like our already popular camps, plus allowed them to improve their English.
