Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 International Opera Awards which will take place on Sunday 15 May at the Savoy Theatre, London. Starting at 6.30pm this year's ceremony will be hosted by BBC Radio 3 presenter Petroc Trelawny. The evening will celebrate excellence in opera while also raising funds for the Opera Awards Foundation, which aims to support those starting their careers in the field of opera.

The ceremony will feature several performances by nominated and winning artists and two previous Opera Award winners, Stuart Skelton and Anna Bonitatibus, as well as the presentation of all twenty awards. The International Opera Awards is sponsored by Nexus, in association with Opera and piano is kindly provided by Markson Pianos.
