Inna Dukach will perform the title role in Puccini's Madama Butterfly at tonight's performance, Tuesday March 13 at 7.30pm, replacing Ermonela Jaho who is ill.

The Russian-American soprano makes her Met debut in tonight's performance. She has previously sung the role of Cio-Cio-San at Pensacola Opera and Anchorage Opera. Other engagements include Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden, Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème at New York City Opera and Opera Colorado, and Countess Almaviva in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro at Hawaii Opera Theatre.

Tonight's performance of Madama Butterfly is conducted by Marco Armiliato and includes Maria Zifchak as Suzuki, Luis Chapa as Pinkerton, and Dwayne Croft as Sharpless.

The remaining performance is on March 16, 2018.
