Center Stage Opera Wants YOU to Strike a Match for Music

"It was like walking into a rain forest of music... The music just surrounded you on every side!" That was how one student described her experience at "The Classics: Timeless Treasures", the very first live concert she had ever attended.
The concert marked the beginning of our partnership with Reseda High School, which includes bringing our main-stage productions to the school's spacious Performing Arts Center, and bringing students (most of whom come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds) to those performances at the most nominal cost to them. We are delighted to announce that we recently were awarded a substantial grant by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. This grant recognizes the high quality of our productions, and our concerted efforts to share them with children and adults who have little opportunity to experience live opera, Broadway, or other music performances. The grant comes with one key condition, however. We must raisematching funds in order to receive the grant funds. To make this happen, we have created the 25-50-100 Campaign. In 25 days, we hope to find 50 donors who will contribute at least $100 each.Videos
