Following the verdict of the George Zimmerman Trial, social media exploded in a fire of reactions. Many believed the 'Not Guilty' verdict was a failure of the justice system. Rapper Young Jeezy has expressed his dissatisfaction and support for Trayvon Martin with a new song called 'It's a Cold World.' The song was written and recorded mere hours after the verdict was read. Get a first listen below!

Jeezy said with regards to the song 'I am in no way shape, form, or fashion am trying to capitalize off of the latest series of events. These are my true feelings and my form of expression about it.' Jeezy raps over a somber beat with female harmonies as backups and lets us in on how he really feels regarding the trial.

He raps 'Who do you believe the preachers or the politician?/ If the mission was impossible would you still take the mission?/ Everybody talkin', don't nobody want to listen/ And the game ain't the same I swear everybody snitchin'/ Try to tell him, who got time for a lecture?/ Before he's 18, probably end up on a stretcher.' Regardless of your feelings on the trial and the media circus that has followed, you can tell that Jeezy is angry and yet somber. A young man is dead and that is in itself, a tragedy.
