THE MARY WALLOPERS, the Irish folk punk group, has released a new single titled KIT KAT CLUB and announced a 2027 North American tour. The track pairs a heavy rockabilly-style guitar riff with lyrics recounting a drinking excursion described in the song as a trip that sent its narrator down to hell.
"Kit Kat Club" rides in on the back of a primal guitar riff - think: heavy rockabilly music built in Ireland specifically for the 21st century gig goer - and proceeds to tell the tale of a drinking mission that "sent them down to Hell." Somewhere the writer can proudly declare their own status as a socialist... which actually may sound more like Heaven!
