Louis Tomlinson has been hard at work on his first solo album, channeling some of his favorite bands, such as the Arctic Monkeys and Oasis. Tomlinson has released two tracks since One Direction's hiatus, including the EDM track "Just Hold On" with Steve Aoki and "Back To You" with Bebe Rexha. But this time, he does not need any help with his new track "Just Like You."

"Just Like You" is another addition to his pop sound, but with more guitars than his previous two songs. Tomlinson's lyrics communicate to the listeners that he is a normal guy, "just like you." He even mentions his former boy band days in the first lines of the song: "It's the guy from the one band // Cigarette in my left hand // Whole world in my right hand // 25 and it's all planned // Night out and it's 10 grand // Headlines that I can't stand."

Tomlinson shared on his Twitter that he wrote "Just Like You" just a few months ago and asked his record label to release it now, instead of its planned release at a later date. His next single will come much later, as he moved the release of "Just Like You" up, but he was really passionate about this song.

His solo album does not have a release date yet.
