Frank Ocean Featured In Band Of Outsiders Tumblr Ads

2013 Grammy Award-winning rising music star Frank Ocean is featured in an ever-expanding series of new promotional images for fashion label Band of Outsiders just now beginning to be rolled out on Tumblr.

As part of a week-long promotion, Ocean will be featured in a series of 23 images depicting the dapper R&B star wearing designer duds crafted by the hipster house released sporadically throughout the week and into the weekend.

In the handful of images from the shoot released so far, a clean-cut Ocean wears a stylish tuxedo while bumming around - quite literally - in an urban environment; smiling, laughing, pondering pensively and even finding the time to catch a few Zs on a park bench while he wanders about a sunny, palm tree-strewn city locale.

Additionally, the Instagram-style images display washed-out, somewhat grainy graphics inside a Polaroid-esque frame, further explicating the shabby chic quality of the inventive, innovative new ad campaign and clothes within it - undoubtedly and undeniably ultra au currant, as is to be expected from the edgy Band Of Outsiders label.

The shots were lensed by Scott Sternberg and filmed throughout Los Angeles.
