BLACK PONTIAC is set to bring its SICK PUPPY world tour to New York City, with rising New York alt-artist NOSHOWS joining the lineup for the stop.
For Black Pontiac, the pairing makes sense. Since emerging from Vancouver's post-pandemic DIY scene, the four-piece has quietly become one of Canada's most exciting rock exports, blending garage-rock urgency with indie-pop instincts and the swagger of bands that understand the difference between writing songs and creating moments. With more than 27 million Spotify streams, national festival appearances, and tours alongside acts including lovelytheband and Peach Pit, the band arrives in New York behind its new album, A Danger to Himself and Others.
For Noshows, the Brooklyn date marks another milestone in a year that's quickly changing the trajectory of the New York artist. The project, led by singer-songwriter Max Satow, has become one of the more compelling names emerging from the city's alternative scene by refusing to stay inside one genre.
