About the artists being showcased in its first annual American Dance Platform, Joyce Theater executive director Linda Shelton said, "We couldn't be more pleased to present this eclectic mix of companies, some well known and others on an exciting rise."

To achieve a varied perspective, The Joyce Theater partnered with guest curators Paul King and Walter Jaffe of White Bird, the Portland, Oregon based dance presenter.

The Joyce Theater's American Dance Platform, featuring eight of the country's most captivating companies, will run from January 12-17 at The Joyce Theater. Tickets for each performance range in price from $10-$40 and can be purchased through JoyceCharge at www.Joyce.org, or by calling 212-242-0800.
