The Pretty Good Girl Dance Studio will perform LUNA, directed by Louise Barrett. LUNA brings to life the book of the same name by LGBT author Julie Anne Peters.

LUNA offers an insight into the life of a transsexual teen. LUNA takes a dance evoked journey with Liam/Luna and his sister Regan as they come to understand Liam’s true identity. Set to the cello concertos of Bach, this is a theatre piece that explores transsexuality and the quest to become whole.

LUNA, the book, is a National Book Award Finalist, a Lambda literary award finalist and a Stonewall Honor book.

Pretty Good Girl Dance Studio has been touring dance and physical theatre since 2003 and this is their 5th national tour and first visit to the Brighton Fringe. The last production finished touring at the Pleasance venue, Edinburgh Festival, where the show ran for a month.
