Miami City Ballet School Offers Dance Classes
Miami City Ballet School's Open House on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 10 am to 4 pm Miami City Ballet School is offering boys between the ages of 7 to 9 the opportunity to audition to earn a full scholarship to study at Miami City Ballet School.
No prior dance training is required.
If the boy possesses musicality, focus and a natural sense of movement - or is skilled in other forms of dance - chances are that he can win a scholarship.
Registration is at 10:30 am and auditions start at 11 am. Boys should wear a T-shirt, shorts and socks if they do not have ballet slippers. Call 305-929-7007 for more information.
We are also offering FREE DANCE CLASSES for those aged 14 to adult and tiny tots aged 3,4, and 5:
Below is a schedule of the FREE DANCE Classes that Miami City Ballet School is offering during its Open House onSaturday, August 10, 2013 10 am to 4 pm. Just come dressed in dance or work out gear. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of class. There are free classes for children ages 3, 4 and 5 - and classes for ages 14 to adult:
Creative Movement (3-4 year olds) 11:00 -11:30 AM & 1:00 - 1:30 PM Studio 4
Ballet Preparatory I (5 year olds) 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:30 - 2:00 PM Studio 4
Introduction to Ballet (Adults and ages 14+) 12:00 - 12:30 PM & 1:00 - 1:30 PM Studio 5
Pilates Mat Class (Adults and ages 14+) 2:30 - 3:00 PM & 3:30 - 4:0PM Studio 5
Beginning Modern (Adult and 14+) 1:00 - 1:30 PM & 2:00 - 2:30 PM Studio 7
Beginning Jazz (Adult and 14+) 12:30 - 1:00 PM & 1:30 - 2:00 PM Studio 8
