Lisa Taylor Academy of Ballet & Dance Arts is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, June 11 at 7 p.m., they will produce a closing demonstration at the historic Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda.

The performance is free for all patrons, and will include scenes from the famous Cinderella and Giselle ballets.

Lisa Taylor Academy of Ballet & Dance Arts also teaches modern dance and liturgical dance as well as Cecchetti Ballet theory. Cecchetti Ballet theory is the Italian theory and study of classical ballet. The Academy is the only certified Cecchetti School in Erie County.

The academy offers the finest training in classical ballet and arts education through dance. Through professional training by qualified teachers, the Academy provides each student individualized attention resulting in successful development of body, mind and spirit. Placement of students at the Academy is always based on the individual needs and goals of each student.

About the company:

Lisa Taylor - Director, Owner has over 30 years of experience teaching dance. She holds Professional Advanced Teaching Certification through the Cecchetti Council of America and is affiliated with both the National Dance Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. A teaching artist for the Arts in Education Institute of Western New York for more than a decade, she also worked with Pick of the Crop Dance for eight years as a Teaching Artist, Rehearsal Director, and Assistant Production Manager. Mrs. Taylor was on faculty in the Fine Arts Department at the Buffalo Seminary for five years, and recently created a dance education program for Oracle Charter School in Buffalo.
