Hartt School Dance to Present DEVOTIONS, 11/7-8

The University of Hartford's Hartt School Dance Division presents "Devotions," the Fall Senior Dance Concert, Friday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Theater, at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $18 for senior citizens, students, University of Hartford alumni, and educators. A $5 discount is available for groups of ten or more. University of Hartford students, faculty, and staff receive one free ticket with a valid University ID. "Devotions" features a wide range of dance styles, from classical to contemporary works. The senior choreographers dive into the deep realms of love and individuality, drawing from diverse, personal experience. In addition to their own choreography, the five Hartt seniors - Jane Krantz, Ryan Bulson, Kirsten Schranze, Elizabeth Angleson, and Lea-Janell Mitchell - will perform commissioned solos created by five internationally accredited choreographers: Adam Gericke, Takehiro Ueyama, Yin Yue, Edgar Anido and Mike Gosney.
