Dancers Over 40 have saluted teachers in the past, but tonight is not just for them, but for their students as well, and to acknowledge the gifts these amazing teachers gave to all of us, and the history that they have passed on to all their "kids."

Special guests include Bob Boross, speaking about Matt Mattox, dancers Carolyn Kirsch, Lynn Schwab, Gene Castle, Patti Mariano, Stephen Reed, Jose de la Cuesta, Amy Burgmaier and additional panelists to be announced closer to the event. DO40 will also feature special video footage of the teachers and live performance as well.

Dancers Over 40 is all-volunteer, membership-driven non-profit arts organization dedicated to preserving the History, Legacy and Lives of our mature creative community, while sharing the knowledge with the younger generation just beginning their careers. The event will be videotaped and donated to the Jerome Robbins Dance Collection at Lincoln Center's Library for the Performing Arts.
