DANCESCAPE Celebrates 10th Anniversary at Club Nokia Tonight

DANCESCAPE will present its sixteenth benefit dance concert tonight, May 14, 2014 at Club Nokia in the LA Live Complex. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the performances begin at 8 p.m. The show will feature more than 200 professional dancers from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW and other professional groups around Southern California. General Admission tickets are just $25, and reserved VIP seating starts at $50, with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to arts and music education programs in local schools.

The 10th Anniversary Gala event, a unique celebration of dance and philanthropy, will be the best yet. Countless music videos, tours and stage productions will bring more than 20 different dance pieces to life in a variety of genres. In addition, the event will include a full bar, food for purchase by Wolfgang Puck and a red carpet.

Jamie Gregor founded DANCESCAPE in 2004 to facilitate support for arts education and opportunities for aspiring dance professionals. Gregor annually unites the Southern California dance community together as a force for positive change through an unforgettable performance. DANCESCAPE attendees enjoy a showcase of some of the most exciting and up-and-coming performers in the dance world, while making a difference for thousands of students, teachers and families. Each ticket sold plays a part in ensuring that art, music and dance is preserved in our city's schools. Since partnering with DonorsChoose.org in 2007, DANCESCAPE has impacted more than 6,000 students in the LA area.

Club Nokia is located at 800 West Olympic Boulevard, on the second floor of the Downtown LA Live complex. Parking is available at the complex as well as at various structures nearby.
