Ballet Next Choreographic Workshop on April 25 to be Broadcast Live via Web-Simulcast

Ballet Next, New York's new classical ballet company founded by international ballet stars Michele Wiles and Charles Askegard, will present its third intimate choreographic workshop featuring all new works in final stages of rehearsal at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center on April 25 at 8:00 pm. The workshop will be broadcast live via web-simulcast on balletnext.com  Participants will include Misty Copeland, Georgina Pazcoguin, Michele Wiles, Charles Askegard, and other guest artists.

The program on April 25 will feature a new work by choreographer Brian Reeder as well as a new pas de deux choreographed by Charles Askegard, set to music by Igor Stravinsky. The program will also feature Margo Sappington's newly expanded Entwined, which includes a trio and a solo for Michele Wiles to accompany the critically acclaimed pas de deux, and La Follia, a duet created for Ballet Next by Mauro Bigonzetti.  Original scoring and live music will be performed by the Ballet Next Ensemble led by Ballet Next Music Director Elad Kabilio.

Ballet Next's choreographic workshop will take place on April 25 at 8pm at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center located near Lincoln Center at 248 West 60th Street. Tickets are $30 and are available at http://www.manhattanmovement.com/event/ballet-next/or by calling 212.787.1178.  

The web simulcast on April 25 will be available for free via the Company's web site balletnext.com through a simple, log-in procedure.  Dance teachers with groups of students logging in on-line should contact Ballet Next directly ahead of each Exhibition at info@balletnext.com.
