12th Annual DanceFest Returns to Stamford's Palace Theatre Tomorrow

By:

For the past 11 years, DanceFest has brightened Stamford's Palace Theatre for 2 weekends every January, giving young area dancers the opportunity to take Master Classes with some of the best dancers in the world and perform on a professional stage during a festival performance on the final Sunday. This year, the 12th Annual DanceFest 2014 begins on January 18th, culminating with the Student Festival Performance of original choreography performed on the HARMAN Stage at the Palace Theatre on Sunday, January 26th at 6 p.m. (a detailed schedule of the festival is included below).

DanceFest is an annual dance festival designed for intermediate and advanced dance students ages 10-18 who train at area dance schools from Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Students participate in master classes taught by outstanding professionals in the dance world in seven different disciplines.
