The Canton Symphony Chorus will be holding auditions for the 2014-2015 season at the Birk Center for the Arts on Walsh University campus on August 10th, 17th, and 24th from 1:30-5 p.m. The Canton Symphony Chorus is under the direction of Dr. Britt Cooper, Director of Fine and Performing Arts and Director of Choral Activities at Walsh University.

The ensemble performs major choral works with the Canton Symphony Orchestra and its music director Gerhardt Zimmermann. This season's performances will include Howard Hanson's Song of Democracy on October 5th during the opening concert of the Canton Symphony Orchestra's Masterworks series, holiday favorites during the Holiday Pops concert in December, a chorus-only concert in February, and Beethoven's Symphony No.9 as part of the CSO's Beethoven festival.
