The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra Partners with Lena for an All-Day Fundraiser Today

Celebrate our friend, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthday this year in an extra special way. Before joining your Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra for Mozart Birthday Bash tonight, January 31, 8pm at the Michigan Theater enjoy a delicious meal at Lena! Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra has partnered with Lena on January 31st for an all-day fundraiser. Lena will give 15% of sales to the A2SO. Guests that mention the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra receive a great meal while helping raise funds for the Symphony. On January 31, 2015 15% of your lunch, gift card or pre-concert dinner purchase will be donated to the A2SO.

Mozart Birthday Bash will be an extraordinary concert with Principal Oboist Timothy Michling, dazzling in Mozart's only oboe concerto, one of the hallmarks of the literature. Its deft melding of playful and wistful melodies will make this one of your favorites. Your A2SO strings take center stage in the intricately satisfying Adagio and Fugue. Coloratura Jeanette Vecchione presents a treasure trove of arias from the Great Mass in C minor to excerpts from the Abduction from the Seraglio. The entire orchestra concludes with the ever-popular Symphony No. 40.
