Skillman Records Launches in New York as Independent Classical Music Label

Skillman Records, a newly established independent classical record label based in New York, today announced its official launch as a subsidiary label division of Skillman Music. Built on Skillman Music's long-standing foundation in studio facility operations, recording, concert film, post-production, and media production, the label extends the company's work into commercial releases and artist catalog development.
Although newly launched as a label, Skillman Records enters the field with years of high-level production experience behind it and has already begun building momentum through partnerships with organizations including Young Concert Artists (YCA) and Musart School of Music, with artist signings and recording projects now underway.
Skillman Records operates through a production-led label model, participating directly in the full lifecycle of each project - from recording and production through post-production, licensing, distribution, and long-term catalog oversight. This structure allows the label to maintain artistic and technical continuity across every stage of development, rather than separating production and release into disconnected processes.
Supported by Skillman Music Recording Studio, a New York-based facility with extensive experience in classical recording, concert film production, and commercial media, the label brings together audio production, visual production, release preparation, and global distribution within a single coordinated environment. Skillman Music's team has collaborated with leading institutions including Lincoln Center, American Composers Orchestra, Kaufman Music Center, Albany Symphony Orchestra, American Ballet Theatre, and China Media Group (CCTV), among others.
