Musical greats Chris Vadala and Allen Vizzutti will take the stage at The Hershey Theatre with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra and Hershey Big Band on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 8 p.m.

Vadala and Vizzutti are world-class artists who move freely across the boundaries of classical, jazz, pop and fusion styles. Selections will include a salute to Duke Ellington, In a Sentimental Mood, Georgia, A Night in Tunisia, Children of Sanchez and Take the A-Train.

Saxophonist Chris Vadala, one of the country's foremost woodwind artists, is in demand as a jazz/classical performer and educator. Mr. Vadala's performing career has been highlighted by a long tenure as standout woodwind artist with the internationally recognized Chuck Mangione Quartet. He has appeared on more than 100 recordings to date, as well as innumerable jingle sessions, film and TV scores, performing on all the saxophones, flutes, and clarinets. Vadala appears regularly with the National Symphony Orchestra as a soloist and section player and with orchestras across the country. In addition, he has performed and/or recorded with such greats as Dizzy Gillespie, Quincy Jones, B.B. King, Chick Corea, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and many others.

Trumpet player Vizzutti has visited 40 countries and every state in the union to perform with a rainbow of artists and ensembles including Chick Corea, 'Doc' Severinsen, the NBC Tonight Show Band, the Airmen of Note, the Army Blues and Army Symphony Orchestra, Chuck Mangione, Woody Herman, and others. Performing as a classical and a jazz artist, often in the same evening, he has appeared as guest soloist with symphony orchestras across the world.
