Celebrate the Holidays, from Traditional to Acrobatic, with the Atlanta Symphony

The Grammy Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will ring in the holiday season offering something for everyone, from traditional annual performances to a one-of-a-kind experience that pairs world-class acrobats and gymnasts with music by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, in Cirque de la Symphonie.

The holiday season begins with Michael Feinstein's Sinatra Centennial Celebration on Dec. 3, followed by four performances of the Cirque de la Symphonie Holiday Spectacular on Dec. 4, 5 and 6. The month of holiday music continues Dec. 12 and 13, with Christmas with the ASO, and Very Merry Holiday POPS! Dec. 17 and 19, at Atlanta Symphony Hall, and Dec. 18, at Kennesaw State University. The holiday season will conclude with a New Year's Eve concert at the University of Georgia on Dec. 31, and the classic American film Home Alone, with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra providing live accompaniment to the full-length film on Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 3 at 3 p.m.

Coca-Cola Holiday Concert Series Presents Cirque de la Symphonie Holiday Spectacular!
Dec. 4 at 8 p.m., Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Dec. 6 at 3 p.m., Atlanta Symphony Hall

Back by popular demand and set to an impressive score of holiday classics, Cirque de la Symphonie returns in a brand new holiday special with all new artists, including jugglers, clowns and acrobats flying high above the Orchestra, led by Conductor Michael Palmer. The Saturday afternoon performance is a family-friendly 75 minute presentation of exciting fun for all ages.

Vienna Boys' Choir: Christmas in Vienna
Dec. 9, 7:30 p.m., Atlanta Symphony Hall

For six centuries, the famed Vienna Boys' Choir has been delighting music lovers with their pure, angelic sound. A Vienna Boys' Choir performance is not just for classical music lovers, but a moving musical experience for everyone. The holiday show will feature the biggest holiday hits, traditional carols and popular sing-along Christmas songs - all from the voices of angels.

Coca-Cola Holiday Concert Series Presents Christmas with the ASO
Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Dec. 13 at 3 p.m., Atlanta Symphony Hall

Capture the spirit of the holidays with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's iconic story of Christmas. A majestic cast of more than 400 musicians brings to life "The Greatest Story Ever Told" as arranged by the legendary Robert Shaw. The event features Conductor Norman Mackenzie, the Morehouse College Glee Club, Gwinnett Young Singers and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

Delta POPS! Presents Very Merry Holiday POPS!
Dec. 17 at 8 p.m., Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., Atlanta Symphony Hall

Principal POPS! Conductor Michael Krajewski leads the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Atlanta's favorite holiday tradition including the best holiday classics. The performance includes vocalist Capathia Jenkins, artist-in-residence bass Morris Robinson and the All-City High School Chorus with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and a special appearance by Santa. The Saturday afternoon performance is a family-friendly 75 minute presentation of holiday cheer for all ages. Come early to visit with live reindeer, enjoy a special pre-concert performance, and take a family photo with Santa.

Delta POPS! Presents Very Merry Holiday POPS! at Kennesaw State University
Dec. 18 at 8 p.m. at KSU's Bailey Performance Center, Kennesaw, Ga.

Principal POPS! Conductor Michael Krajewski leads the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Atlanta's favorite holiday tradition including the best holiday classics. The performance includes vocalist Capathia Jenkins, artist-in-residence bass Morris Robinson and a special appearance by Santa. Joining the Orchestra for this performance will be choruses from Hillgrove, Kennesaw Mountain, Lassiter and Walton High Schools. Tickets are available via the Bailey Performance Center ticket office.

New Year's Eve Concert at University of Georgia
Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. at UGA's Hodgson Concert Hall, Athens, Ga.

Celebrate New Year's Eve with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. This musical celebration, led by Assistant Conductor Joseph Young, is in the spirit of the famous and ultra-popular Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Eve Gala Concert. The 90-minute program begins at 7 p.m. and is the perfect way to ring in 2016. UGA Performing Arts Center ticket office.

Delta POPS! Presents Home Alone with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Jan. 2 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 3 at 3 p.m., Atlanta Symphony Hall

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the American classic film Home Alone, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra with Conductor Constantine Kitsopolous and the Grady High School Chorus will perform the score in real-time to an HD viewing of the original movie. This 1990 holiday classic is filled with mayhem, mischief and a great family story with a memorable and poignant score by John Williams.
