BSO Cancels Performance of A GOSPEL CHRISTMAS WITH THE MSU CHOIR, 12/17

Please note that the Thursday, December 17 performance of "A Gospel Christmas with the Morgan State University Choir" has been cancelled. Ticket holders to the December 17 event will be automatically seated in the December 18th performance or can call the BSO Ticket Office for additional options.

The Friday, December 18 performance will occur as scheduled. Conductor Eric Conway and the nationally acclaimed Morgan State University Choir will join the BSO with repertoire ranging from Classical to gospel. Known and internationally acclaimed for its emphasis on preserving the heritage of the spiritual, the performance will open with John Rutter's Christmas classic "Gloria," after which the 120-voice choir will perform an a cappella set of spirituals and other holiday classics. The concert will culminate in "We Believe," a Gospel Christmas cantata. December 18, at 7:30 p.m., at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
