The eighth release from the Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic 2012-13 Season digital recording series is now available for download from iTunes and other major online music providers.

Led by Music Director Alan Gilbert, this release is titled "Modern America" and features works by American composers, including the New York Premiere of Steven Stucky's Symphony, a New York Philharmonic Co-Commission with the Los Angeles Philharmonic; the World Premiere of Prospero's Rooms, a New York Philharmonic Commission by The Marie-Josée Kravis Composer-in-Residence Christopher Rouse; andIves's Symphony No. 4.
