Tobias Garrett was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up on the south side. Allured by the promise of brotherhood and family, he found himself involved with a street gang. He realized that this particular lifestyle was no different than what he had been experiencing at home, so he committed himself wholeheartedly. After years of taking part in the cycle of "necessary" violence, he was tried and convicted of first-degree murder. As he waited trial, he came to the conclusion that the street gang's promises were all pretense. Since the games sounded and a guilty verdict was entered against him, he has spent every walking day attempting to atone for his past. He now aims to uplift the youth of today's society.
