Securing America's borders entail tremendous work and strategic planning to ensure risk-free flow of lawful people and goods entering the country. In Smuggler Catcher, a comprehensive account that details one man's promising career, author Zoran Knezev offers to his readers a glimpse of the ins and outs of the US Customs and Border Protection.

This book details Knezev's career with US Customs later, after 9/11, renamed to US Customs and Border Protection. In Smuggler Catcher, he will walk his readers through his career with primary mission of, in addition to interdiction of terrorists, detection and seizure of drugs and dirty money. As a Supervisor of the Enforcement Team, Zoran Knezev was involved in real enforcement activity. He provides knowledge and information on Customs violations, smuggling and drugs-highlighting his mission as a smuggler catcher. Becoming keen at details, he learned to look for violations such as goods not legally marked, false invoices, undervalued merchandise, failure to present goods for Customs inspection, and many other situations. Throughout the pages of this book, readers will understand the complexity of this career and its significance to every country.

His job was becoming more interesting, delicate and risky, but his commitment and dedication to his duties lead him to rise up the ranks. "Every word in the book is true and correct. The book contains a number of original photographs which show some of my successful operations," the author reveals. "I estimate that during my work for the US Government we have seized over 20 million dollars of "dirty money". Together with my highly successful work I had to fight for the promotions. This due to the fact that I was still a foreigner in the eyes of some of my supervisors who simply refused to accepts me as one of their own."

After his many years of dedicated and remarkable service, Knezev enjoys a comfortable retirement. Smuggler Catcher was written to provide information and knowledge, and at the same time to serve as a revealing legacy to the following generations-to fire up inspiration to those who want to serve in the government through the author's notable contribution in the US Custom and Border Protection.
