Arthur’s questioning everything about himself after falling in love with Stephanie, a human witch. Although Arthur’s hatred for witches kept him and Stephanie apart before, they must work together for the common good on the frontlines of war. Stephanie has been told all her life that witches turn bad if they become vampires. After being assigned on the same mission, Arthur and Stephanie must both question the prejudices they’ve held for much of their lives.
“We all have prejudices we grew up with, something we’ve always believed and never questioned. This book is about what happens when something happens in your life that forces you to question that belief system,” Schlea says. “I want my readers to be taken on an adventure that relieves them from the stress of their everyday life.
