After meeting Barack Obama in Kenya, Chris Kanyane was left with many unanswered questions like "Who is the real Barak Obama?" and "How has this man stolen the attention of the world?" In "Moving Forward!: The President Making a Better America and the World" (published by Trafford Publishing), Kanyane takes a deeper look at the mystery, the legend, the man.

"Barack Obama's life has been the subject of endless news reports, blogs, memoirs and case histories," says Kanyane. "Yet, at a deeper personal level, he has remained an enigma, a riddle, a person shrouded in mystery and mystique. There is a need for something definite and specific: a constructive setting forth of reality and truth."

Readers join Kanyane as he takes a comprehensive, constructive look at what makes Obama who he is. He takes readers back into his early life and moves forward to today. After reading this book, Kanyane hopes that all readers will be able to see Obama at the deepest personal dimension. "I want readers to see how he catapulted himself into a place of authority."

An excerpt from "Moving Forward!"

"Those who have gone through surmountable sufferings are the people who evolve into greater beings and become humbled by life and as a result are more open, genuine and real. Barack Obama is such a person. His story teaches as it delights at the deepest personal level."
