BiblioBoard has expanded their already comprehensive LGBTQ+ offering to include more positive content for young readers from Dreamspinner's Young Adult imprint, Harmony Ink Press. Harmony Ink's update includes 50 new titles, all published in 2014. The books range from thrillers with werewolves and traveling carnivals to more traditional romance and coming-out stories.

In a recent article about Harmony Ink Press, editor Anne Regan discusses the importance of libraries and their positive reaction to the work Dreamspinner is accomplishing. "The reaction from librarians and teachers has been overwhelming. Getting these books into school and public libraries is key, because not every teen has parents who will buy them for them or the kind of family where they'd feel comfortable bringing them home. Being able to find these books in libraries gives teens access no matter what their individual situation is like."

BiblioBoard's LGBTQ+ catalog now contains over 2,000 titles with nearly 300 Dreamspinner books in Spanish, Italian, French and German. All books are available with unlimited multi-user access to library patrons, meaning there are no checkouts, returns or wait lists. The collection, which includes over 100 finalists and recipients of the Rainbow Award, the Lambda Literary Award, the EPIC eBook Award and the CBC Rookie Award, is being sold with bulk discounts and tiered pricing in proportion to library size, putting the collection within the budget of any library.

"There is a huge demand for books that speak to the young LGBTQ+ community," says Mitchell Davis, founder and Chief Business Officer of BiblioLabs. "We are thrilled to see our LGBTQ+ collection continually growing and evolving to meet readers' needs. It's a pleasure working with Dreamspinner and Harmony Ink to create a comprehensive, yet affordable solution to expanding libraries' LGBTQ+ content in a remarkable way."

The new Harmony Ink content, in addition to other titles from Dreamspinner and Riptide Publishing, is available on BiblioBoard both on the web and through award-winning native apps on Apple and Android tablet devices. Libraries interested in previewing the content can explore the catalog here.
