In "Open My Eyes, Lord" (published by WestBow Press), the new book by Bevin Summey, readers are taught the humble story of a blind beggar who was healed by Jesus Christ. Summey uses this story to inspire those who are "blinded" by the world's standards to "see" the Truth and come to know Christ for who He really is and accept Him as their Savior.

Bevin Summey lived a simple, quiet and innocent life throughout her childhood and teenage years in the small town of Dalton, Ga. As a child, she accepted Christ as her savior and began to develop powerful talents in writing and photography. With Christ to guide her, she began to feel the need to use her gifts to show the world who God really is. Her mother and best friend, Pamela Pippin, encouraged and cheered her on as she kept her faith strong in God after she graduated from Christian Heritage School in 2009.
