In his first book '"Undying Fire: The Mission of the Church in the Light of the Mission of the Holy Spirit" (published by AuthorHouse), Ronald Wayne Young gives the reader an opportunity to understand the Christian experience of the Holy Spirit in a concise, yet responsible manner.

"There are many people invoking the Holy Spirit as the source of their inspiration," notes Young. "However, they don't seem to know or care what the Christian experience of the Holy Spirit teaches the Christian Church about how the Holy Spirit works. This book allows people to understand the Christian experience of the Holy Spirit in a compact, yet responsible way."

The mission of the Christian church, explains Young, is inspired by the mission of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, which is one of evangelism. In "Undying Fire," Young seeks to analyze the evangelization activities of the church in relation to the mission of the Holy Spirit.

An excerpt from "Undying Fire":

"While some may believe that God is safely ensconced at a distance, watching as Creation unfolds with minor fascination, the idea that the Holy Spirit has a mission suggests otherwise. God is indeed the most committed, the most engaged and the most involved Missionary Being tending toward the well-being of all that exists, especially humanity. It is the Church's very nature to be attentive to the mission of the Spirit, to discern and to follow the Spirit's lead through a similar engagement in the world of God's abiding concern so that all people may come to know themselves, their histories and cultures in the salvific light of the Good News that God generously offers."
