In her 2012 autobiography "In Transit: A 365-Day Transition from the Corporate World to You-Are-on-Your-Own-and-Good-Luck-with-That!" (published by iUniverse) author Gisele Aubin shares her experience of turning her career around in order to create a more fulfilling life.

Aubin will feature her book at the 2013 Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany, today, Oct. 9-13, 2013. According to the fair's website, the Frankfurt Book Fair is a meeting place for the industry's experts and the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licenses worldwide.

"In Transit" is the story of a successful human resources executive who leaves the corporate world to start her own business, unexpectedly and without much of a plan. Before she can define her future, she has to reconnect with herself, her world, and learn how to make choices based on a whole different set of values. What she thought would be another work project turns out to be about reinventing her life.

"Reinventing your life is an incremental process that depends on your ability to start and not only the quality of your planning," Aubin says. "There is no formula to this, it is about trusting yourself and being brave and determined."
