12 Milliones & + Estamos Jodidos, from the author Al Chávez and published by Xlibris, is a book dedicated to the immigrants from all over the world and in memory of all those who have lost their lives in the pursuit of the cherished American dream for a better life for themselves and for their families.

12 Millones & + Estamos Jodidos is based on the opinions of the author and his experiences shared with undocumented people and data published both by the Government of the United States as in Mexico, as well as by the media of both countries. Expressions, comments, and the use of the word "Jodidos", is a reference to all the injustices and discriminations that are experienced every day in the United States of America and the anti-immigrant laws that have been adopted in several of the States.

"Perhaps my opinion is not that much of weight, but if I join the rest in the scale so that it balances a little more. This is my two cents I want to contribute; we must unite in favor of an immigration reform or amnesty so that all the undocumented immigrants who qualify obtain a legal status and at the same time remove all such existing anti-immigrant laws that only promote racism, segregation, harassment, exclusion and persecution." ~ Al Chávez.

Through this book, the author wants to make a request to President Barack Obama and the Congress of the United States of America, that justice is done for all the undocumented immigrants who are in this country because they have been waiting for many years for a comprehensible immigration reform or amnesty that will help them be legalized.
