Brooklyn Museum's WHO SHOT SPORTS: A PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORY, 1843 TO PRESENT To Close
On Sunday, January 8, Who Shot Sports: A Photographic History, 1843 to the Present closes at the Brooklyn Museum. The show is one of the first museum exhibitions to put sports photographers in the forefront and is the most comprehensive presentation of sports photography ever organized. It encompasses approximately 230 works--- from daguerreotypes and salted paper prints to digital images--- that capture the universal appeal of sports, highlighting unforgettable moments of drama and excitement from around the globe.

World-renowned sports photographers Al Bello, Simon Bruty, John Huet, and Walter Ioos Jr. share stories of capturing the most exciting moments in modern-day sports. Moderated by guest curator Gail Buckland. Live podcast by the Photo Brigade. Followed by a book signing with Buckland.
