A.R.T.'s DONKEY SHOW Celebrates 2nd Anniversary

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) is pleased to announce that its hit production, THE DONKEY SHOW, is celebrating is second birthday at OBERON on Saturday, August 27th. Performances are at 7:30pm and 10:30pm. As a special birthday treat, a limited number of $2 dance floor tickets will be offered for all performances in August. $2 tickets will be on sale on Tuesday of each week before the show!
From its six-year run in New York City to a world tour from London to Seoul, the celebrated smash hit The Donkey Show has also taken Boston by storm, bringing the ultimate disco experience - a crazy circus of mirror balls and feathered divas, of roller skaters and hustle queens. The Donkey Show tells the story of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream through the great 70s anthems. The enchanted forest of Shakespeare's classic comedy becomes the glittered world of retro disco as the lovers escape from their real lives to experience a night of dream, abandon, and fantasy.Celebrate with all the 70s disco hits you know by heart as the show unfolds around you.
