Viacom networks TV Land, BET and CENTRIC have announced that they will simulcast the LIVE season three premiere of TV Land's original sitcom 'The Soul Man' on Wednesday, March 26th at 10:30pm ET/PT. CENTRIC will also showcase the series beginning in April by running marathons of the first two seasons. Additionally, starting April 5th, CENTRIC will air the new third season every Saturday at a special time of 10pm, 10 days after the episode debuts on TV Land. All subsequent episodes will air Saturdays at 9pm. The LIVE season premiere of 'The Soul Man' will air on all three networks immediately following the LIVE season premiere of 'Hot in Cleveland,' airing on TV Land at 10pm ET/PT. Fans can live tweet along with all three networks using the hashtag #SOULMANLive.

FAMOUS IN 12, the new unscripted series/social experiment that will film one fame-seeking family around the clock for 12 weeks straight, will premiere on Tuesday, June 3 (8:00-9:00pm ET), it was announced today by The CW Network.

Syfy is reigniting the channel's traditional long-form scripted programming event for 4th quarter with the greenlight of the 6-hour series Ascension, it was announced today by Syfy President Dave Howe. Ascension is an ambitious original drama created and written by Philip Levens (Smallville) who will serve as Executive Producer and Showrunner. The series will be produced in Montreal, QC by Sea To Sky Studios in association with Blumhouse Productions. Jason Blum (Stranded, The River, film franchises Paranormal Activity and The Purge) and Mark Stern are Executive Producers on the project along with Ivan Fecan, Tim Gamble and Brett Burlock on behalf of Sea To Sky Studios. The event series will be co-financed and distributed by Universal Cable Productions and Lionsgate Television.

True to “Nightline's” long tradition of excellence in of-the-moment journalism and documentary-style storytelling, “Nightline Prime” will use the newest technologies to put viewers in the middle of stories as they unfold. The new program puts the latest small, agile cameras out with journalists embedded at the center of the stories they are reporting, enabling its teams to go farther, closer and deeper than previously possible. “Nightline Prime” premieres SATURDAY, MARCH 15 (9:00–10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

SHOWTIME has ordered BILLIONS, a new complex, contemporary drama pilot from a script by Andrew Ross Sorkin (Too Big To Fail), and Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Ocean's Thirteen, Rounders), who will also executive produce. BILLIONS is a fictional drama that focuses on the collision and, at times, collusion between an aggressive U.S. attorney in New York and some of the richest hedge fund billionaires in the country.BILLIONS marks the first pilot pick-up for SHOWTIME this year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Cho will join DOCTOR WHO's Karen Gillan in ABC's modern spin on MY FAIR LADY, SELFIE, directed by Julie Anne Robinson from a script by Emily Kapnek (Suburgatory). The cast also includes Allyn Rachel, Tim Peper, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and David Harewood.

NBC's TODAY continues to gain momentum and deliver substantial ratings growth. Throughout the week of March 3, TODAY narrowed its key demo and total viewer gaps with GMA. Bolstered by the Oscars and the Dancing with the Stars cast reveal, GMA had strong deliveries early in the week, however TODAY rebounded significantly. As the week continued, TODAY slashed the total viewer gap with GMA by 52% and the A25-54 demo viewer gap by 69% compared to the Monday/Tuesday averages. TODAY also posted across-the-board gains year-to-year and season-to-date in all ratings categories.

The episode ranked as the #1 telecast in OWN history among total viewers and #2 in the key female demo (2.75 W25-54) behind only 'Oprah's Next Chapter' with Bobbi Kristina. For the night, episode ranked as the #1 cable telecast in the key female demo (2.75 W25-54) and #4 in all of television among W25-54 rating. This season finale grew double digits, up 38% in total viewers and 24% in W25-54 vs. the prior season finale.
