ABC WORLD NEWS Up in Key Demos Over Last Week

During the first quarter of 2014 “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer” averaged 8.774 million Total Viewers and a 2.0 rating/7 share/2.361 million among Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research. “World News” grew the most in the demo by +9% compared to last year. For the 2nd quarter in a row, “World News” posted increases compared to both the previous quarter (7.928 million and 1.982 million for 4Q13) and the year-ago quarter (8.225 million and 2.155 million for 1Q13) in Total Viewers (+11% and +6%, respectively) and Adults 25-54 (+19% and +10%, respectively). In fact, the ABC evening newscast turned in its most-watched quarter in 6 years and strongest news demo quarter performance in 3 years – since 1Q08 and 1Q11, respectively. “World News” (+10%) grew the most in the demo from the year-ago quarter compared to “CBS Evening News” (up less than +1%) and “NBC Nightly News” (+6%).

FOX Networks to Air Over 21 Hours of Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Coverage

National Geographic Channel, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 are set for 21 hours of live and same-day coverage from this year's 12th annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction. The multi-platform, interactive broadcast begins Friday, April 11 at 12:00 PM ET on FOX Sports 2, continuing on FOX Sports 1 at 3:00 PM ET. National Geographic Channel provides eight hours of coverage on Saturday, April 12 (12:00 PM ET), with FOX Sports 1 culminating the weekend on Sunday, April 13 (5:30 PM ET).

LA VOZ KIDS Hits New Season High with 2.2 Million Viewers

Last Sunday's episode of Telemundo's “La Voz Kids” scored its best performance yet this season, delivering 2,233,000 total viewers and 1,128,000 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen. Produced for the first time out of Universal Studios Florida, Sunday's episode of 'La Voz Kids' is up 4% in total viewers and 15% in adults 18-49, respectively versus season two premiere. Compared to season one, the second season of the Sunday night reality show is up 16%, premiere to date, delivering in average over 1 million adults 18-49.

Bravo Posts Best Quarter in Network History

Powered by its high-quality original programming and digital innovations, Bravo Media is on pace to earn its best quarter in network history among all key demos, according to Nielsen. Bravo ranks #9 in the highly coveted P18-49 and P25-54 demos and maintains the #1 ranking for most engaged viewers for P18-49 in primetime. After eight consecutive years of growth in total viewership, the network averaged 1.1 million total viewers and 629,000 adults 18-49 this past quarter, up 7 percent and 1 percent respectively vs. Q1 2013. Driven by the strength of its Sunday night lineup with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,”“Blood, Sweat & Heels” and “Thicker Than Water,” Bravo earned its best night ever among all key demos (1/5/14). In addition, the week of February 3 marked the network's most-watched week ever in primetime and delivered its best week among P18-49 since the week of 4/16/12.

DirecTV Orders Peter Ackerman's THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T SAY PAST MIDNIGHT to Series

DirecTV announced today that it has ordered ten episodes of the original comedy, Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight, from award-winning writer Peter Ackerman. Production on the series is set to begin in Los Angeles in May of 2014. The latest exclusive from DirecTV will air on Audience Network later in the year and will be executive produced by Ackerman and Nick Hamm for Momentum TV.
