Gravitas Ventures has acquired all rights for North America and numerous international territories to 21 Years: Richard Linklater, a feature-length documentary by Paste Magazine's movies editor Michael Dunaway and co-Director Tara Wood. The film examines the first 21 years of Linklater's career and includes intimate interviews with many of the filmmakers' longtime collaborators and animation by Austin-based Powerhouse Animation Studios.

Sundance Selects announced today that the company is acquiring North American rights to LAST WEEKEND, starring Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson. The film marks the directorial debut of Tom Dolby and Tom Williams, with an ensemble cast that includes Zachary Booth (KEEP THE LIGHTS ON), Chris Mulkey (“Twin Peaks”), Joseph Cross (RUNNING WITH SCISSORS), Devon Graye (THE DISCOVERERS) and Jayma Mays (“Glee”).

Illustrating the programs aimed at capturing the Hispanic audience and the multi-platform Hispanic millennial, Joe Uva, Chairman, Hispanic Enterprises and Content, NBCUniversal, and Rubén Mendiola, President, mun2, announced the network's upcoming original programming grid and series in development. Award-winning executive producer/writer Rodney Barnes (The Boondocks, Everybody Hates Chris) teams up with acclaimed comics creator Alan Robert to develop an animated television series based on Robert's hit IDW Publishing graphic novel Killogy. Barnes and Robert will serve as executive producers on the series, with Barnes penning the screenplay for the pilot. Celebrities Frank Vincent (Goodfellas, Casino, The Sopranos), Marky Ramone (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, the Ramones) and Brea Grant (Heroes, Dexter), who all appeared as main characters in the graphic novel, will now lend their voices to the show. Producers Chris White (My Super Psycho Sweet 16 franchise) and Jeff Mazzola (Descent) are also on board.

Nickelodeon's hit animated series Sanjay and Craig debuts its first 30-minute primetime special this Friday, May 16, 7:00p.m. (ET/PT). In the episode, 'A Tail of Two Slithers,' Craig meets his long-lost brother, Ronnie Slithers, who uses devious methods to try and turn the dudes against one another.
