Japan Society announces a new film to JAPAN CUTS' already bursting 2014 lineup. In the spirit of celebrating the versatility of guest actor Kazuki Kitamura, recipient of the festival's CUT ABOVE Award for Excellence in Film, the Society adds the horror-thriller Killers in its East Coast Premiere. Kitamura plays an eerily handsome and decadently deranged serial killer in this adrenaline-filled Indonesian-Japanese co-production, an entrancing take on the consumption of violent imagery counterposed with political violence and corruption. Showing three completely different sides of the phenomenal international star, the festival also features the Kitamura vehicle Neko Samurai ~Samurai ? Cat~ and his turn as homme fatale inMan from Reno.

Set in modern times, 'Los Miserables' is a melodrama about the life of an innocent woman hounded by the law who must use all her cunning to fight back, hide and prove her integrity to her pursuer, who is also the man she loves. Written by Valentina Párraga ('La Patrona') and filmed entirely in Mexico, the story is inspired by the epic drama by French novelist Victor Hugo, a leading figure in romantic literature.

TiVo Research and Analytics, Inc. (TiVo Research), a subsidiary of TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO), today revealed results from the TiVo Spring 2014 Binge-Viewing Survey. With 91 percent of the 15,196 survey respondents reporting binge-viewing as common viewing behavior, binging is firmly established as the preferred method of consuming entertainment content. In fact, 40 percent of respondents had binged within a week and 69 percent had binged within a month of the survey.
