Rebecca Maynard has been writing professionally for eleven years. She was a reporter and photographer for the Loudoun Times-Mirror newspaper in Leesburg, Va., for four years, and now writes and edits freelance and for the Clarke County Observer magazine. She received her bachelor's degree in journalism and English from Shenandoah University, where she covered the school's theatrical performances for the campus newspaper. She covers local theater in the Washington, D.C. area where she lives.
