The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research will celebrate its 36th Annual Honors Gala on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York. This year the foundation is proud to present the Humanitarian of the Year Award to Bea Perez, Chief Sustainability Officer for the Coca-Cola Company. The Spirit of Excellence Award will be presented to Scott Borchetta, Chief Executive Officer of Big Machine Label Records. The Lifetime Philanthropic Award will be presented at the gala to Arnold Palmer, Golf Legend and Philanthropist and the Chairman's Award will be presented to actor and comedian Drew Carey.

Grammy Award winners Martina McBride and also Darius Rucker along with The Voice's Javier Colon will perform for the crowd of an estimated 1,000 music and entertainment leaders, top business executives and celebrities. Other celebrity appearances and performances will be announced closer to the date of the event. The night also includes a fantastic cocktail reception, dinner, awards presentation and world-class silent auction to raise funds for cancer and AIDS research. Red carpet arrivals will begin at 6pm EST.

ABOUT THE T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION:
The T.J. Martell Foundation is the music industry's largest foundation that funds innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. The Foundation sources and supports early-stage research projects aimed at developing more effective clinical treatments which otherwise might not be funded.
