THE VAMPIRE LESTAT Gets Behind-the-Scenes Companion Series

The Vampire Lestat is launching a new half‑hour companion series, taking fans behind the scenes of each episode of the flagship AMC series. THE AFTER show will debut with a special preview episode on Sunday, May 24 on AMC+ ahead of the full series launch on Sunday, June 7.
Hosted by writer, producer and podcast host Lizzie Bassett, The Vampire Lestat: After Dark features interviews with cast and producers, including Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, Executive Producer Mark Johnson and Executive Producer and Showrunner Rolin Jones.
In the preview episode, Reid, Anderson, Zaman, Hayles, Bogosian, Jones and Johnson tease the new season, offering early insights into what fans can expect alongside candid, behind-the-scenes stories from the set. Episodes will roll out weekly on Sundays on AMC+ and be available the next day on podcast platforms.
Select episodes of The Vampire Lestat: After Dark will air on AMC, including the special preview episode on Sunday, May 31, the season premiere on Sunday, June 7, and season finale on Sunday, July 19.
The Vampire Lestat: After Dark is produced by School of Humans and AMC Studios. Executive producers include guests Jones, Johnson, Reid, Anderson, Hayles, as well as LC Crowley, Brandon Barr, Ben Franzen, Adam O’Byrne and series showrunner Joe Randazzo.
The new rock and roll-centric season of the flagship series follows the Vampire Lestat as he goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his WILD and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
In addition to Reid, The Vampire Lestat stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle and is executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice. It premieres on Sunday, June 7.
Lestat will take over New York City's Beacon Theatre stage on June 2 for The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only - LIVE. Played by Reid, Lestat will perform original music from the series in a live performance following a special screening of the premiere episode.
