Sofie B. Hawkins, Orfeh, Andy Karl and More to Join THE SKIVVIES... BITE ME! at 42West Next Week

Jacob Langfelder presents THE SKIVVIES... BITE ME! The undie-rock comedy-pop duo of Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley (The Skivvies) have a monthly residency at 42West (514 West 42nd Stree), which features an all-star line up of guest artists from the worlds of Broadway, Television and Film. The concert takes place Monday, April 13, 2015.

Joining The Skivvies are Sofie B. Hawkins (Damn I wish I was Your Lover Fame), Orfeh (Tony Nominee Legally Blonde), Max Crumm (Grease, Fantastiks), Brandon Rubendall (Wicked), Dani Spieler (Chicago, Legally Blonde), Alyssa DiPalma (The Last Ship), Mitch Jarvis (Rock of Ages), Andy Karl (He was Rocky) and many more surprise guests.

The concert will feature original video graphics mapped on a 30 foot LED wall.

Tickets for the show begin at $20 for General Admission; Reserved Seats are $35 and VIP Tickets, which include preferred seating and VIP Meet & Greet, are $75 each. The Skiivies are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, award-winning singer/actor/musicians performing stripped down arrangements of eclectic covers and eccentric originals. Not only is the music stripped down ­ cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica ­but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform.

Molina (Broadway's Rock of Ages and Sweeney Todd) and Cearley (All Shook Up) became YouTube sensations with their Skivvies covers of artists like Robyn, Carole King and Rihanna. The videos led to live shows, and now this undie-rock comedy-pop duo, assisted by drummer Shannon Ford, performs to sold-out audience in New York and beyond. They also have a single, "Hardbody Hoedown," with a music video directed by Augusten Burroughs, bestselling author of Running With Scissors.

Under the auspices of Jacob Langfelder, 42West has transformed into midtown's new 14,000 square ft, blank canvas. In its first year, the multimedia, multipurpose events and performance space has featured Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Meryl Streep, Jessie Mueller, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Anthony Rapp, Sierra Boggess, The Skivvies, Chaka Kahn, Tony Yazbeck, Jeremy Jordan, LaChanze and many more.
