Photo Flash: Ann Harada, Nick Cearley and More to Start the New Year with Big Laughs at VILLAIN: DEBLANKS

Laugh your (BODY PART)_____ off as "Brenda Braxton presents Villain: DeBlanks" continues January 3, and performs the first Sunday of each month at 7:30pm at The Triad NYC. The "Villain: DeBlanks" amazing January 3 cast includes the brilliantly funny Ann Harada (SMASH, "Avenue Q"), the naughty-but-always-nice Nick Cearley (The Skivvies, "Buyer & Cellar), OWN Network's beautiful "ice queen" Angela Robinson (Tyler Perry's The Haves and The Have Nots, "The Color Purple"), Time Out New York theater critic Adam Feldman, downtown darling and award-winning cabaret diva Molly Pope ("FOUND" at Atlantic), and UCB funnyman Jeff Hiller (30 Rock, "Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson"). Joining the fun as our "special media guest" will be Patrick Hinds, creator and host of the popular Theater People podcast.

"Villain: DeBlanks" is the uproarious improvisational comedy where the cast says words you put in their mouths. The audience provides nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. (the wilder, the better), and the actors provide the laughs-uncensored and unrehearsed-as they enact the story of Philip DeBlanks' untimely demise. It's "Clue" meets adult "Mad Libs," and it's never the same show twice!

After appearing in three benefit performances of "Villian DeBlanks," Brenda Braxton is delighted to announce this periodic run currently scheduled for six months -- November through April -- starring some of the funniest people in New York. Ms. Braxton will join the show in April following her run in "After Midnight" aboard Norwegian Escape.

Upcoming casts include Lesli Margherita, Jim Newman, Patrick Page, Annaleigh Ashford, Lesli Margherita, Paige Davis, Erik Liberman, Randy Graff, Trent Armand Kendall and more (pending availability).
